I've tried to avoid too much news lately, but I'm trying to catch up on this PIPA/SOPA stuff now after seeing your post(s).  I'm trying to figure out who or what would benefit from such legislation – because, let's face it. . .  it's about power, control and money.  An individual, a corporation or an industry needn't be affiliated with any particular political tendency to attempt to control and manipulate to get what would benefit self the most.  Who stands to benefit most from this sort of legislation?  Just wondering. . .

Well, I think the intent it that the people being ripped off by pirating will benefit…the thing is, there will always be a way around it. In the end, only the law abiding people will suffer…and the government will have more control.

and it's already happened. between this and the indefinite detention bill, I don't see how Obama can have many supporters left…except for the fact that the alternative will likely be Romney or Gingrich. Scary.
